Senior Auto Maintenance Technician

Cox Automotive seeks a Senior Auto Maintenance Technician to keep our fleet and facility vehicles safe, reliable, and ready for service. In this hands-on role, you'll perform advanced diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and complex mechanical and electrical repairs on a variety of vehicles and equipment. You'll use modern diagnostic tools, interpret service data, and ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on fleet and facility vehicles and equipment
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections to minimize downtime
• Execute complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs using modern diagnostic tools
• Document all work performed, parts used, and test results in maintenance systems
• Ensure all repairs comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to prioritize and schedule work
• Mentor and support junior technicians, sharing best practices and technical knowledge
• Assist in improving maintenance workflows, tools, and standard operating procedures
