Position Overview

We are looking for a bright, organized, and welcoming Scheduling Coordinator to be the face and voice of our practice. In this role, you will manage our daily schedule, greet our wonderful patients, and keep the front office running seamlessly.

  • Employment Category: Full-Time (4 Days/Week)

  • Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

  • Pay Type: Hourly

  • Compensation Range: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule Optimization: Manage and optimize the daily patient schedule to ensure an efficient, smooth workflow for the clinical team.

  • Patient Hospitality: Greet patients warmly upon arrival, manage check-in/check-out processes, and provide excellent customer service over the phone.

  • Communication Hub: Answer incoming phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and manage appointment confirmations and reminders.

  • Patient Retention: Actively fill schedule cancellations, manage the continuing care/recall system, and follow up on unscheduled treatment plans.

  • Administrative Support: Maintain accurate patient electronic records and assist with basic front-office administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Dental Experience (Preferred): Prior experience working in a dental office front desk or administrative role is highly preferred.

  • Communication

    Skills:

    Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a warm, professional phone demeanor.

  • Organization & Detail-Oriented: Ability to multitask effectively, manage time efficiently, and keep the schedule tightly organized in a steady environment.

  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with dental practice management software and digital scheduling communication tools is a plus.
