O2 Employment Services is partnering with a reputable medical office to find a compassionate and dependable Front Desk and Member Care Coordinator for their outpatient addiction treatment practice in Redding, CA. This full-time position is ideal for someone who naturally makes others feel welcomed, respected, and cared for. Administrative procedures can be taught, but a warm, patient, and nonjudgmental personality is essential for success in this role.
FrontDesk and Member Care Coordinator Compensation &
Schedule:
- $21–$23 per hour
- Full-time, Four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday
- Hours generally range from 8:15–8:30 a.m. to 6:00–6:30 p.m.
- Occasional travel to the Chico office may be required, with mileage reimbursement
- After completion of probationary period, generous benefits are offered
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Naturally warm, friendly, compassionate, and approachable
- Comfortable working with individuals working through addiction and recovery
- Dependable, punctual, and consistent
- Patient and calm when assisting individuals experiencing difficult circumstances
- Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills
- Basic computer, typing, reading, and written communication skills
- Organized and able to follow established procedures
- Professional communication skills in person, over the phone, and electronically
- Willingness to learn electronic medical record systems and office procedures
- Previous receptionist, front-desk, customer-service, medical office, behavioral health, or recovery-focused experience is preferred but not required
- Warmly greet and check in members and visitors
- Answer and route incoming phone calls, text messages, and emails
- Schedule, confirm, and update appointments
- Maintain accurate demographic, contact, and insurance information
- Assist new members with paperwork, intake steps, and navigating the office
- Enter and update information in the electronic medical record
- Communicate with counselors, medical providers, and administrative staff
- Help members understand routine office processes and next steps
- Collect urine drug screens and pregnancy tests after proper training
- Maintain the front desk, waiting area, and office supplies
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Follow HIPAA, confidentiality, safety, and organizational policies
- Help maintain a clean, organized, professional, and welcoming environment
- Perform additional front-office duties as needed
