Cal Electro, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Proposal & Project Coordinator to support our Project Management and Estimating teams. This role plays a key part in coordinating construction proposals and active projects by preparing documentation, tracking schedules, facilitating communication, and ensuring deadlines are met.

• Assist Project Managers with the organization and execution of ongoing construction projects
• Develop & manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, purchase orders, and project databases
• Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder and internal project meetings
• Take meeting minutes and track action items to completion
• Gather quotations and coordinate material procurements and deliveries with vendors
• Provide general administrative and coordination support as needed
• Prepare and submit construction proposals, bid documents, and work orders
• Gather vendor and subcontractor quotes and support cost estimate development
• Track addenda and changes throughout the proposal and bid process
• Develop accurate, complete, and well-organized proposal documentation
• Maintain proposal results databases and spreadsheets

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a related role (construction, project coordination, estimating, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, or related field preferred
• CAPM or other project management certification a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
• Experience with project management or construction management software such as Bluebeam and Microsoft Project a plus
• Familiarity with construction plans and specifications preferred
• Knowledge of file management systems and administrative procedures

We are looking for a knowledgeable, experienced construction foreman to coordinate operations and oversee workers at our numerous construction sites. As the liaison between workers and supervisors, the foreman will be the key person in charge of overseeing the completion of the project with a keen awareness of material expenses, permits, and employee safety.

• Oversee and ensure that all safety rules are being followed at all sites at all times
• Produce work schedules in accordance with the availability of employees, contractors and labor laws and monitor the attendance of crew
• Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans, adjusting as necessary due to weather, supply delivery, and personnel
• Delegate responsibilities and individual projects to the crew and contractors
• Recruit, hire, mentor, manage and train employees and contractors
• Provide adequate resources and staffing to meet safety needs, regulations, best practices, laws, and project schedule
• Emphasize safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment, including training on safety gear, helmets, and procedures
• Develop and oversee quality standards on all sites
• Monitor and manage project budgets on all sites
• Resolve conflicts or miscommunication that may happen on-site quickly and amicably
• Report project status to supervisors, site engineers and officials regularly

• High school diploma or certification in a skilled trade (electrician, carpenter)
• 4+ years’ experience as a construction foreman
• Extensive knowledge of construction best practices, equipment maintenance, and use, and OSH guidelines
• Understanding of use and maintenance of electrical and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints and convey this information to others
