Estimator​/Sales Support

O2 Employment Services is working with a reputable local manufacturing company to find their next Sign Estimator / Sales Support professional. This position is based in Redding, CA.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret drawings and project specifications, and experience supporting estimating or production processes. Candidates who also bring design experience in addition to estimating, fabrication, or installation knowledge are highly desirable.

$20.00 – $30.00 per hour DOE

Previous experience in estimating, fabrication, installation, or a related construction/manufacturing environment preferred

Knowledge of illuminated and non-illuminated signage, including channel letters, cabinets, monuments, pylons, and custom signs is a plus

Ability to read and interpret architectural and electrical drawings

Proficiency with estimating software, Excel, and standard office systems

Strong math, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills

Ability to manage multiple bids, projects, and deadlines simultaneously

Design experience is highly preferred

Review architectural drawings, site plans, specifications, and client requests

Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare accurate cost estimates for signage projects

Estimate fabrication, materials, labor, electrical components, permitting, installation, and subcontracted services

Source pricing from vendors and subcontractors as needed

Prepare clear written proposals, bids, and supporting documentation

Identify risks, exclusions, and assumptions within project estimates

Ensure pricing aligns with scope, company standards, and profitability goals

Collaborate with sales, project management, fabrication, and installation teams

Support value engineering and cost-saving alternatives when appropriate

Maintain organized estimating records and assist with change orders and post-project reviews
