Oncology - Medical Oncology Physician

Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Hematologist/Oncologist to join our Outpatient Chemotherapy and Infusion Center in Redding, CA. This facility offers a supportive environment with a midlevel provider assisting with patient flow. As a solo provider, you will have the opportunity to deliver high-quality care while collaborating with ER physicians and hospitalists for any admissions.

• Conduct all aspects of Diagnosis, Staging, Precision Medicine, and Treatment of Hematology/Oncology Patients.
• Provide MD oversight for the Oncology/Hematology clinic and Infusion Services.
• Ensure the Infusion Center is staffed and managed efficiently, providing Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, Blood/Platelet transfusions, Hormone therapy, and more.
• Collaborate with the support staff, including nurses and medical assistants, to ensure excellent patient care.
• Participate in hospital consults and provide on-call support as needed.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oncology or Hematology REQUIRED
• California Medical License REQUIRED
• Completion of a Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology REQUIRED
• Current DEA registration and ACLS certification REQUIRED for Moderate Sedation Privileges
• Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation REQUIRED

• California Medical License
• ABMS Board Certification or eligibility in Oncology or Hematology
• DEA Registration
• ACLS Certification (PALS for Pediatric Patients if applicable)
