Shasta Eye Medical Group — a well-established, high-volume ophthalmology practice in scenic Redding, Northern California — is actively seeking a skilled, motivated Ophthalmologist to join our dynamic team. This is a rare chance to step into a proven, high-income role due to the upcoming retirement of a long-time, high-producing surgeon.
We are a thriving MD/OD integrated group offering a full spectrum of ophthalmic care, with a strong base of loyal patients and exceptional surgical volume from day one.
Responsibilities- Join a well-established, high-volume ophthalmology practice and take over a retiring surgeon’s patient base.
- Provide comprehensive ophthalmology care and cataract surgery within a busy clinical setting with high pathology and diverse cases.
- Collaborate with co-managing optometrists and a supportive, experienced staff; participate in an on-site ASC and optical dispensary.
- Contribute to a patient-first, team-oriented culture with a focus on quality outcomes.
- Strong background in comprehensive ophthalmology and cataract surgery
- Residents welcome!
- Open to candidates with additional fellowship training in Cornea, Glaucoma, Retina, or Oculoplastics
- Willingness to work in a busy clinical setting with high pathology and diverse cases
- Refractive skills (LASIK/PRK) welcomed but not required
- Desire to grow with a team-oriented, patient-first group
