Adjunct Instructor of Criminal Justice

The School of Adult Studies is seeking candidates to develop courses and teach online in the Criminal Justice major of the Degree Completion program.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a field related to criminal justice studies

• Professional experience in a criminal justice field, such as law enforcement, courts, and corrections

• Experience teaching college level courses, preferably in an accelerated online format

Essential Functions

• Create and teach criminal justice online courses related to the candidate's area of experience and expertise

• Utilize Canvas LMS to deliver course content to students and grade and provide feedback on student work

• Draw from professional experience to contextual concepts students are learning in their readings and resources

• Teach and communicate effectively with diverse, adult students
