About the Employer

Located in the greater Redding area, the Mountain Valley Special Education JPA is a consortium of 13 small school districts and one charter school that was created to provide a broader continuum of services for students with disabilities.

Job Summary

Teaching special education students with moderate to severe disabilities. Case manage students in class, write IEPs, schedule and hold IEP meetings, assess students.

Year for year teaching expierience for placement on salary schedule. STRS retirement participant. Health, Dental and Vision benefits for employee. Education reimbursement for prior 3 years.

This would be a new class with a startup supply budget of $3500. Classroom site to be determined within JPA school district sites. Class size of 10 students maximum with 3-4 aides based on actual number of students and their needs.
