Substitute Teacher

Summary

We are seeking dedicated and flexible individuals to fill the role of a Substitute Teacher. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality education and maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. This position requires adaptability, strong communication skills, and a passion for fostering student development.

• Implement lesson plans as directed by the regular teacher to ensure continuity of instruction.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and productive learning environment.
• Provide support and assistance to students, addressing their individual needs as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents regarding classroom activities and student progress.
• Follow school policies and procedures, including attendance and grading protocols.
• Supervise students during lunch, recess, and other activities as required.
  
  Engage students in learning activities to keep them focused and motivated.
• Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate school personnel.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered.
• Valid teaching certification or substitute teaching permit as required by the state.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and student needs.
  
  Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with children.
• Previous experience in a classroom setting is a plus.
• Background check clearance as required by school district policies.
