CERTIFICATED VACANCY FOR THE  SCHOOL YEAR:
Special Day Classroom Teacher
- Grand Oaks Elementary (Mild/Moderate) Grades 1st-2nd Current Gateway USD certificated employees must submit a request for consideration to the Director of Human Resources on or before the deadline. Gateway USD employees are welcome to submit an application packet on Edjoin. Interns are welcome to apply! SALARY
- Based on 184 work days $59,681 - $122,390 Master's Degree Stipend - $1,500.00 Doctorate's Degree Stipend - $1,500.00 $ 10,000 SIGNING BONUS:
The District will offer a $10,000 signing bonus to all newly hired employees. The payment shall be made as follows: 1st payment ($4,000) September 2025 payroll. 2nd payment ($6,000) Upon completion of positive evaluation. New hire is defined as someone not currently employed in a District position.
* Special qualifications including knowledge, skills and abilities:

- Mild/Moderate Credential Position requires a valid California Teaching Credential or California Teaching Commission approved document authorizing service in the assignment, including CLAD certification. EdJoin application, cover letter, resume, credential(s) and (3) letters of recommendation or placement file. Additional Documents:
* Copy of Credential (or statement regarding the status of your credential).

The selection process will include an appraisal of application material. Candidates receiving the highest ratings will be selected for an interview. (Only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted). PRE-HIRE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SELECTED APPLICANT:
Background Check & Fingerprint Clearance (will be required to pay a fingerprint processing fee);
Physical Assessment Exam;
