Job Title

Instructor for Building and Construction Trades

Licenses and other requirements:

• Valid CA Career Technical Education (CTE) Teaching Credential in the related field of Building and Construction Trades or Equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a minimum of (3) three years of verifiable work experience in the field of Building and Construction Trades or Equivalent.
• One year of verifiable work experience in Building and Construction Trades or Equivalent with the completion of a minimum of 48 semester units of postsecondary vocational training related to the field Building and Construction Trades or Equivalent.

Master's Stipend - $2,825 or Doctorate Stipend - $3,725 (prorated monthly).

Location:

Shasta County Independent Study, 3711 Oasis Road, Redding

Hours:

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-3:30pm (7 hours/day) Under the direction of a Director or Principal, instruct students in a classroom, individually and in small groups in accordance with Shasta County Office of Education policies and procedures; plan, implement, and evaluate learning programs and activities in assigned teaching areas; develop and implement IEP goals and assess student progress and achievement; coordinate programs to increase independence and functioning in society, socially, vocationally and academically.
