Instructional Aide Subs are needed for dynamic, school-based, per diem opportunities in the greater Redding, CA area. As an Instructional Aide, you’ll play an important part in assisting students academically, socially, and behaviorally. These on‑call assignments offer the flexibility to choose when you work, adapting to your availability and the needs of local schools.

• Deliver academic, behavioral, and social support to students individually or in small groups as directed by school staff
• Assist with classroom routines, daily transitions, and participation
• Implement behavior support strategies and follow Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as needed
• Provide supervision, mobility assistance, and personal care support
• Maintain a safe, accountable, and respectful school environment

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test (in line with district requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and help lift students as necessary
• Willingness to secure all required clearances before starting

• Work in educational, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral concerns
• Additional credentials such as CPI, PMT, or RBT (a bonus, not required)
• Reliable, patient, and strong team player
