Instructional Assistant
The instructional assistant's primary responsibility is to assist students in becoming academically proficient in the California Standards and assists teachers in classroom activities. The instructional aide tutors, supervises, and works with individual or groups of students to provide safety, or help implement the curriculum under the direction of teacher(s) or principal. Assists with student behavior, and may work one on one with a student.
Performs related duties as assigned. Instructional Aide Hiring Incentive:
Employee is eligible for a sign-on bonus, for $1000 distributed as follows: 1. $500 after completing probationary period (6 months) 2. $500 after completing one year of employment (181 days) 3. The bonus is for commitment to one year (181 days) of employment. If the employee does not complete one year of service (181 work days), they will be required to repay the entire sign-on bonus, regardless of the reason for separation.
Year for year experience in-school credit for placement on salary schedule.

Aug 11, 2026 Hours may vary depending on assignment. Positions are 6-6.5 hours/day Education Stipend (paid annually for highest level) Associates (AA) $300 Bachelors (BA) $600 Masters (MS) $1,250 Doctorate $1,500 Work days:
Monday - Friday Benefits are optional and prorated (if more than 6hrs/day) ($10,750 for full time) Dental and Vision are free.
