This is an on-site position located at our office in Redding, CA.
- Coordinate and schedule telehealth appointments for patients and providers.
- Monitor telehealth appointment adherence and follow up on missed or rescheduled visits.
- Provide assistance with virtual visit setup, ensuring a smooth experience for both patients and providers.
- Serve as the first point of contact for technical issues related to telehealth sessions.
- Assist patients and providers with logging into virtual platforms, camera/microphone setup, and connectivity issues.
- Coordinate with IT support when necessary to elevate unresolved technical concerns.
- Educate patients on how to use telehealth platforms securely and efficiently.
- Communicate with providers and staff to optimize telehealth scheduling and reduce appointment conflicts.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with telehealth policies and best practices.
- Track telehealth utilization and provide reports on appointment completion rates and technical issue trends.
- Support workflow improvements for the Home Psych department to enhance telehealth efficiency.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a medical office, front desk, or customer service role.
- Previous experience in telehealth coordination, healthcare administration, or patient services preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.
- Experience in behavioral health or mental health settings preferred.
- Experience working with underserved populations, including Medi-Cal recipients, at-risk individuals, and those with severe mental illness is preferred.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and appointment scheduling software.
- Basic knowledge of insurance verification and medical terminology preferred.
- Technical proficiency with video conferencing platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced virtual environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Professional demeanor, excellent problem‑solving skills, and a customer service‑oriented attitude.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem‑solving skills.
