This is an on-site position located at our office in Redding, CA.

  • Coordinate and schedule telehealth appointments for patients and providers.
  • Monitor telehealth appointment adherence and follow up on missed or rescheduled visits.
  • Provide assistance with virtual visit setup, ensuring a smooth experience for both patients and providers.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for technical issues related to telehealth sessions.
  • Assist patients and providers with logging into virtual platforms, camera/microphone setup, and connectivity issues.
  • Coordinate with IT support when necessary to elevate unresolved technical concerns.
  • Educate patients on how to use telehealth platforms securely and efficiently.
  • Communicate with providers and staff to optimize telehealth scheduling and reduce appointment conflicts.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with telehealth policies and best practices.
  • Track telehealth utilization and provide reports on appointment completion rates and technical issue trends.
  • Support workflow improvements for the Home Psych department to enhance telehealth efficiency.
Qualifications Education
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a medical office, front desk, or customer service role.
  • Previous experience in telehealth coordination, healthcare administration, or patient services preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.
  • Experience in behavioral health or mental health settings preferred.
  • Experience working with underserved populations, including Medi-Cal recipients, at-risk individuals, and those with severe mental illness is preferred.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and appointment scheduling software.
  • Basic knowledge of insurance verification and medical terminology preferred.
  • Technical proficiency with video conferencing platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced virtual environment.
Soft Skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Professional demeanor, excellent problem‑solving skills, and a customer service‑oriented attitude.
