Maintenance Technician - Redding, Ca

Overview

AWI Management Corp. is seeking an experienced individual to help maintain a large multi-family apartment community in Redding, CA. Experience in general building maintenance and landscape is preferred.

The position is full-time at 40 hours a week.

Pay range is $25.00 - $26.00/hour DOE.

• Reliable Transportation

• This position requires the ability to operate a motor vehicle as an essential function of the job. A valid driver s license is required. • Good communication skills
• Computer literate (Word, Excel, MS Outlook)
• Ability to positively interact with the general public, tenants, vendors, and corporate staff
• Strong organizational skills

• Experience with subsidized housing (HUD, Tax Credit, or RD) helpful
• General building maintenance skills (painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, carpentry)

• Maintain good public relations with residents and vendors
• Assist with annual apartment inspections and identifying action items
• Report violations of lease and house rules
• Timely completion of maintenance request, work orders and ensure tenant s maintenance needs are being met
• Work with manager to schedule vendors and order necessary supplies
• Perform preventative maintenance duties
• Maintaining excellent curb appeal
• Follow policies and procedures
