Currently, we are seeking a qualified
** Maintenance Manager
** to work collaboratively with our Windows Division in
** Phenix City, Alabama**.

** About the Position*
* * Work with Mill Manager and other Supervisors to optimize productivity
* Assure safe workplace practices are followed and promote safety awareness through leading by example
* Effectively communicate with outside suppliers and service providers
* Actively manage and reduce downtime through quick analysis of options and orchestrating solutions
* Improve and lead the maintenance department through predictive, preventive and proactive maintenance analysis
* Manage methods and procedures for allocating labor, planning, scheduling, and timely completion of jobs
* Exercise cost control measures and maintain improvement plans
* Manage installation, maintenance, repair and testing of all equipment to increase reliability and improve performance
* Understand and comply with applicable regulations such as OSHA, wage and hour, and environmental
* Supervise, train, direct, and coordinate work of the department’s crew
* Effectively manage crew work time and duties during production, breakdowns, and emergencies
* Manage scheduled time off, unexpected absences, and modified duty of crew
* Participate with interviews and selection of new hires
* Recognize and recommend crew commendation, corrective, disciplinary and discharge actions
* Participate in crew member corrective, disciplinary and discharge actions  
** Qualifications*
* * At least 5 years’ experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment. Preference given to wood product manufacturing experience
* Demonstrated understanding of maintenance operating procedures and best practices, including shutdown
* Knowledge of both mechanical and electrical components as they are used in an industrial environment
* Demonstrated ability to solve problems, conduct root cause analysis, and lead and motivate a crew
* Understand product manufacturing processes with emphasis in people management
* Proven commitment to safety and Company policy
