Position: Fabricator / Install Technician

O2 Employment Services is working with a local manufacturer company to find their next Welder / Installer. This position is based in Redding, CA.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and experienced with welding and installation work in a manufacturing environment. This role offers a dynamic mix of standardized builds and custom projects, providing long-term growth in a rapidly expanding industry.

$24.00 – $28.00 per hour (DOE)

Full-time: 40 hours per week

Welding experience (MIG required)

Mechanical aptitude with hands-on installation experience

Familiarity with 12V electrical systems

Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions

Strong attention to detail and time-management skills

Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused work ethic

Comfortable working in a manufacturing or fabrication environment

Experience in truck body manufacturing or upfitting is a plus

Perform MIG welding and fabrication for commercial truck bodies and components

Install truck beds, hoists, hydraulic systems, equipment, and accessories

Complete 12V electrical wiring, installation, and troubleshooting for lights, controls, and auxiliary systems

Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate builds

Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently

Conduct quality inspections to ensure completed work meets company standards

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules

Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical installation issues

Support custom-build projects requiring precision, craftsmanship, and creative problem-solving

Maintain regular and reliable attendance
