Our forests are sustainably managed under a 100-year plan by Registered Professional Foresters, Wildlife Biologists, Botanists, and other professionals. We are growing forests for our future, planting over 6 million new trees every year. In Spring 2024, we planted our 300 millionth seedling on our timberlands.

Sierra Pacific effectively uses nearly 100% of every piece of wood we bring to our facilities. In fact, any small amount that isn't turned into hand‑crafted doors and windows, millwork, lumber, or landscaping material is actually converted into electricity in our eight biomass‑fueled power plants.

• Direct, create, and maintain internal communications that convey the culture of Sierra Pacific and inform employees of important information
• Develop content and manage publication process for internal presentations and Company newsletters
• Manage Sierra Pacific’s social media platforms to support the Company’s values and reputation
• Support and ensure compliance with Company branding guidelines in internal and external communications
• Design and procure signage, logoed merchandise, and other products to support various internal and external outreach activities
• Procure and manage Company-sponsored merchandise for branding, gifts, or employee purchase
• Manage Company’s multi‑media resources to support sales, marketing, executive presentations, and messaging
• Develop and maintain a variety of multi‑media projects to support recruiting and community relations efforts
• Collaborate with all levels of the Company to assist in managing Sierra Pacific’s website content
• Effectively manage multiple projects from conception to completion within established deadlines
• Multi‑task and adapt to changing priorities while staying organized and meeting expected targets
• Some travel is required

• 2 years of recent, directly related, and relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, graphic design, or significantly related field preferred
• Multi‑media experience that includes graphics design, video editing, electronic messaging, and digital photo file
• Experience copy‑editing structural content
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
• Demonstrated professional and effective written communication skills
• Proven ability to build and maintain effective interpersonal relationships
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
• Understand appropriate discretion with confidential Company information

The general wage range for this position at Sierra Pacific Industries is from $70,000 and $85,000 per year, and is dependent upon a number of factors, including, but not limited to: relevant work experience, skill, knowledge, and/or education.
