American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Manager, ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Redding, California.

- Acute care hospital ICU setting
- RN Nurse Manager role overseeing ICU nursing staff and operations
- 12-hour night shifts
- Every other weekend (EOW) required
- First to float when staffing needs arise
- Charting system:
Cerner
- Active CA RN license (Standard or Compact/NLC) required; pending licenses not accepted
- Required certifications (all must be active; pending not accepted): BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
- Driver's license required for consideration
- Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
- Candidates must pass the Relias Dysrhythmia exam (basic or advanced) before an offer can be confirmed
- A Pass/Fail competency test on sterile technique for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes is administered on the first day of orientation
- Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any Common Spirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered
