Travel RN - Operating Room - Cardiovascular​/CVOR

Position: Travel RN - Operating Room - Cardiovascular OR/CVOR
American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR RN for a 13-week travel contract in a Surgery - Open Heart unit, requiring a minimum of 3 years of CVOR experience and an active CA RN license.

Job Details

• Surgery - Open Heart unit in a hospital setting,

• Shifts are 8 hours/day, 5 days/week (40 hrs/week), rotating between 06:30-15:00 and 10:45-19:00,

• Schedule is Monday-Friday with on-call responsibilities 2-3 days per week depending on experience and caseload,

• Every other weekend on-call required,

• Some call-back shifts required,

• Da Vinci XI robotic surgical system is used in this unit,

Job Requirements

• Active CA RN license required,

• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross),

• Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross),

• Minimum 3 years of CVOR experience required,

• Prior acute care hospital experience required,

• Da Vinci XI robotic surgery experience required,

• Workplace Violence Prevention (DCI/BVP) certification required - can be completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or the free CDC resource,

• DOB and SSN required for consideration,
