Job Responsibilities
Unit Leadership: Oversee daily clinical operations, staffing schedules, and resource allocation for a high-acuity Intensive Care Unit.
Clinical Supervision: Act as a critical resource for ICU nursing staff, ensuring adherence to evidence-based critical care guidelines and hospital policies.
Patient Advocacy & Quality: Monitor patient outcomes, handle family grievances, and lead quality improvement and infection control initiatives.
Interdisciplinary Liaison: Coordinate directly with physicians, directors, and trauma services to manage patient flow, bed capacity, and complex care plans.

RequirementsLicense: Active, unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years of recent ICU leadership experience (Manager, Supervisor, or Permanent Charge Nurse).
Certifications: BLS and ACLS required. CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) or CNML (Certified Nurse Manager and Leader) is highly preferred.
System Skills: Strong proficiency in hospital operations, staff conflict resolution, and electronic health records (EHR) management.
