What You'll Do:
  • Take patient histories, perform physical exams, and develop assessments and diagnoses
  • Initiate, review, and revise treatment plans in accordance with applicable regulations
  • Order and interpret diagnostics, labs, and imaging studies
  • Recognize urgent situations and institute necessary treatments
  • Counsel patients on health matters, medications, and disease management
  • Arrange patient admissions, complete medical records, and coordinate ongoing care
  • Facilitate referrals to community resources and health facilities
  • Administer medications and transmit prescriptions under supervision
  • Act as first or second assist in surgeries, including robotic-assisted procedures, with proper documented training and competencies
  • Support the trauma team by monitoring and managing an average of 20-25 ICU patients daily
What You Need:
  • Active CA Nurse Practitioner license, with national certification
  • Trauma or critical care experience required
  • Ability to perform surgical assisting if applicable, with documented training or relevant experience
  • BLS, ACLS certifications preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced trauma environment
