Robust referral bonus program, paid sick time as per state/federal laws, licensure, travel, and reimbursement when applicable
- Take patient histories, perform physical exams, and develop assessments and diagnoses
- Initiate, review, and revise treatment plans in accordance with applicable regulations
- Order and interpret diagnostics, labs, and imaging studies
- Recognize urgent situations and institute necessary treatments
- Counsel patients on health matters, medications, and disease management
- Arrange patient admissions, complete medical records, and coordinate ongoing care
- Facilitate referrals to community resources and health facilities
- Administer medications and transmit prescriptions under supervision
- Act as first or second assist in surgeries, including robotic-assisted procedures, with proper documented training and competencies
- Support the trauma team by monitoring and managing an average of 20-25 ICU patients daily
- Active CA Nurse Practitioner license, with national certification
- Trauma or critical care experience required
- Ability to perform surgical assisting if applicable, with documented training or relevant experience
- BLS, ACLS certifications preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced trauma environment
