Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Med Surg Tele RN Opportunity

Med Surg Tele RN provides direct patient care for individuals requiring telemetry monitoring and general medical-surgical support. The RN delivers safe, timely nursing interventions, coordinates care with the interdisciplinary team, and documents clinical findings accurately.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients, monitor telemetry readings, and identify changes in condition promptly
• Administer medications and treatments according to clinical protocols and patient needs
• Provide wound, oxygenation, and vital-sign monitoring support as indicated by assessment
• Coordinate diagnostic testing, consults, and care transitions with the healthcare team
• Educate patients and families on care plans, warning signs, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Demonstrate proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation of basic cardiac rhythm changes
• Deliver Med Surg nursing care with strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Possess current CPR certification
• Maintain the ability to float to meet unit needs without compromising safety or quality
• Exhibit strong communication and documentation practices
