Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN)

  Emergency Room RN responsible for delivering acute patient care across trauma, stroke, pediatric, and psychiatric cases in a busy ED setting, with unit-specific orientation requirements.
• Certifications, Education, and
  
  Experience:
  
  ACLS, BLS certification; PALS is required; NIHSS preferred; minimum of 2 years of ER experience required.
• Schedule:
  
  12-hour shifts, evenings, with varied start times between 4 PM and 7 PM, averaging at least 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information:
  Candidates must have two years of specialty experience; travel experience preferred. The role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and experience with Level II trauma or higher. Responsiveness to unit needs includes some flexibility for trauma cases depending on experience and the possibility of working with high-volume, high-acuity patients. The hospital operates 24/7 with comprehensive support services including in-house hospitalists and intensivists, and round-the-clock pharmacy and RT services.
