Quality Control Manager

Summary

The Quality Control Manager works to understand the client’s needs by ensuring company and customer quality standards are met. This role maintains quality assurance processes, tests materials, records and analyzes results, supervises quality tests, inspects, calibrates equipment, and communicates findings. They interpret project specifications and plans, ensuring compliance with documents, regulatory agencies, and health and safety guidelines.

• Execute comprehensive inspections to align with standards in project plans, technical specifications, and documentation.
• Foster a clean environment, enforce safety protocols, and cultivate a secure working atmosphere.
• Develop and implement corrective actions that meet project requirements.
• Prepare and deliver reports as mandated by project specifications to managers and clients.
• Maintain meticulous documentation for auditing.
• Ensure proper calibration and operation of measuring equipment, arranging repairs.
• Record and document test results following established protocols.
• Conduct quality calibrations and internal audits with professionalism.
• Stay updated on industry knowledge through publications, seminars, and education.
• Collaborate with government agencies during inspections.
• Work with project management to meet schedules and budgets.
• Create project submittals that align with specifications.
• Perform additional assignments and special projects as directed.

• Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of quality control experience.
• Knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards, and interdependence of functional units.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and quality control standards.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, spoken, or diagrammatic form.
• Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel.
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and analytical skills; ability to manage priorities and workflow.
• Highly proactive and responsive to internal and external customers.
• Ability to work with all levels of management.
