Come join the Outback family as a Cook, where you will be passionately preparing, portioning, and cooking food items to Outback’s quality specifications. As a Cook, you will be committed to safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards during the shift. You will also be preparing food with proper safety equipment, tools, and recipe specifications. As a Cook, you’ll help provide each customer with an AUS-SOME dining experience through your passion and commitment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare food items efficiently and accurately, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Work in various kitchen stations including Salad, Fry, Dessert, Sauté, Grill, and Make Up, along with Kitchen Prep.
• Maintain equipment and keep your work area clean and organized.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and quality food delivery.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and food handling standards during your shift.
• Use proper safety equipment, tools, and recipes provided by management.
• Restock kitchen and cook line as needed to maintain workflow.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.; able to work in hot and cold environments.
• Ability to stand, walk, or bend for extended periods.
• Good vision abilities, including distance, close, color, depth, and peripheral vision, with the ability to adjust focus.
