GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

Provide support to the Store Manager to ensure effective execution of systematic inventory process, quality assurance processes and standards, and inventory management processes and standards; execution of merchandising plans, including merchandise sets, displays, and rotation; provide support to management team to maintain overall store operations and superior customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet all customers as they enter the store and thank them as they are leaving
• Demonstrate friendliness and cheerfulness to customers and co-workers
• Merchandising of the department to company standards
• Ensure every item has a SKU and is priced
• Set ad merchandise in accordance with promotional guidelines
• Ensure price changes are completed as directed by BPM
• Execute merchandising plans as directed by BPM or store leadership
• Receive shipments as needed in the department
• Stock freight and ensure adequate amounts of merchandise available
• Assist cashiers and perform cashiering functions as needed
• Ensure a clean and safe working and shopping environment throughout the department
• Communicate with location management and department personnel daily
