Mason Hod Carrier

Custom Personnel has a client seeking a Hod Carrier to assist with their masonry operations.

The purpose of a hod carrier is to carry and move materials such as bricks, blocks, and mortar to and from the site of construction. These workers act as assistants to the masonry crew, providing materials needed to complete the job. This role requires physical strength and stamina, as well as the ability to work in tight spaces and ther requirement is the attention to safety and instruction following, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Potential Duties May Include:

• Carry and load building materials, such as bricks, blocks, plaster, and tiles
• Mix mortar and cement
• Clean and prepare building sites
• Erect scaffolding
• Install lintels, door frames, and window frames

Must have prior experience as a skilled laborer / construction laborer.
