Industrial Electrician

Location:

Quincy, California.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in manufacturing facility.
• Maintain all components required to control machinery, including switches, sensors, programmable logic controllers, variable frequency drives, and operating interface units.
• Recognize and effectively identify hazards and correct electrical defects.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all electrical systems and equipment.
• Inspect and maintain motors, switches, junction boxes, switch panels, circuit breakers, transformers, fuse panels, and lighting.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical installations.
• Install electrical conduit and pull wire.
• Maintain efficiency and safety of all plant electrical circuits, assemblies, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and install encoders, linear transducers, vision systems, and other advanced sensors.
• Identify and help implement process improvements to optimize performance and production.
• Effectively troubleshoot issues for best resolution while staying calm in stressful situations.
• Communicate effectively, comprehend, and follow complicated verbal and written instructions.
• Perform general maintenance in a safe and efficient manner and maintain a clean work area.
• Work may consist of overtime during busy production times.

• 2 years of recent verifiable related work history or equivalent education.
• Understanding of industrial electrical safety, MCCs, three-phase power, running conduit, lighting, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers and their programming (preferable).
• Read and understand blueprints and circuit diagrams.

• Up to $1,500 hiring bonus.
• Hourly rate $40‑45 per hour.
