The client is hiring a Resident Manager for a 78‑unit affordable housing community. The position includes a 2‑bedroom on‑site unit as part of the compensation. Hours are typically 10 per week, with additional hours compensated at $22.00–$24.00 per hour based on experience.

The Resident Manager is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of the property.

• Maintain trash rooms, trash chutes, and dumpster areas; move trash dumpsters to the curb for pickup several times a week.
• Empty dog relief stations and remove trash and litter from exterior of the building and sidewalks daily.
• Perform small handyman repairs in units and common areas (e.g., minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance fixes within scope).
• Conduct routine inspections of units and common areas, reporting any issues requiring additional attention.
• Clean and maintain common areas including hallways, lobbies, laundry rooms, and outdoor grounds.
• Respond to resident service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor building systems and report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or repair needs.
• Support the property management team with special projects as assigned.

• Previous maintenance or handyman experience, especially in residential or multifamily housing.
• Ability to safely operate basic tools and cleaning equipment.
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
• Positive, self‑motivated, and customer‑service oriented.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work such as bending, climbing, and carrying.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Full‑time or part‑time schedule depending on property needs.
• Flexibility to assist with occasional after‑hours emergencies is preferred.
