HVAC Technicians

About the Position

Required:

2-5+ years of HVAC industry experience, preferably 5 or more years. Journeyman level installer and technician.

• Clean DMV and background checks compliant.
• Maintain a positive, friendly attitude and the ability to work with others.
• Work in a drug/substance-free workplace.
• Operate air compressors and pneumatic controls.
• Operate building automation controls.
• Have EPA certification.
• Certificate of completion from trade school preferred.

• 2-5+ years’ experience.
• Performs installation and preventative maintenance on all HVAC control systems.
• Assesses and diagnoses required repairs for estimated cost.
• Replaces electrical components such as compressors, contractors, motors, relays, and diagnoses any electrical or mechanical components to which these are related.
• Changes out gas furnaces/boilers and split air conditioning systems, and installs ductless air conditioning and heat pumps, water heaters, sheet metal installation and transitions, refrigeration, condensate, and PVC venting.
• Procures all material in a timely manner to meet client service agreements for scheduled completion dates.
• Possesses competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance.
• Responds immediately to emergency situations and customer concerns.
• Performs all work to industry standards and maintains a professional manner and appearance at all times.
• Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives as related to building operations and practices safe work habits.

Typically Monday-Friday, but may vary based on client and client needs.

Depends on client.

$18-$40 per hour based on 2-3 years of experience; fresh graduates pay at DOE.
