Welder ​/ Install Technician Tier 2

O2 Employment Services is partnering with a local manufacturing company to find their next Welder / Install Technician Tier 2 (Heavy Duty). This full-time, long-term opportunity is ideal for someone with welding experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a passion for building quality equipment.

• $24.00 - $28.00 per hour (DOE)
• Immediate opening
• Full-time opportunity
• Three-day weekends every week (Friday-Sunday off)

• Previous MIG welding and fabrication experience required
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot installation issues
• Experience with 12V electrical wiring and electrical systems preferred
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials as needed
• Perform MIG welding and fabrication on commercial truck bodies and components
• Install truck beds, hoists, hydraulic systems, and related equipment
• Complete 12V electrical wiring for lighting, controls, and auxiliary systems
• Read work orders and technical drawings to ensure accurate builds
• Perform quality inspections to ensure completed work meets company standards
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical installation issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Collaborate with production team members to meet project deadlines
• Assist with custom fabrication projects requiring precision and problem-solving
