The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
The Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) operates within their Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Services division to coordinate active treatment, manages client caseloads in residential facilities, and supervises direct care staff. This is a hands‑on role bridging the gap between individuals, their families, and staff in Redding, CA.
Shift Structure:
Typically, a standard Monday through Friday, daytime business hours schedule.
Setting:
Supports individuals within local day programs and specialized residential care environments.
Earn up to $30.47 per hour
Core Responsibilities- Primary Advocacy:
Act as the main advocate for individuals with IDD to ensure their choices, rights, and health needs are respected. - Individual Service Plans (ISP):
Work collaboratively with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to design, draft, and modify person-centered ISPs. - Monitoring Compliance:
Perform and review routine monitoring functions to ensure care meets strict California Title 17 and Title 22 guidelines. - Stakeholder Liaison:
Serve as the central communication link connecting the facility, the individual’s family, and external regional centre case managers.
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in psychology, human services, sociology, or a related field.
A minimum of 1 to 2 years of direct experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
Must be able to oversee caseloads and manage localized case file compliance at the Chico site.
