Driver, Courier
Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick up of packages; checks shipments for conformance to Fed Ex features of service; provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area; provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.
Monday–Friday 9:00 am–6:00 pm (full‑time).
Minimum EducationHigh school diploma/GED.
Minimum ExperienceSix (6) months courier experience preferred. Must be able to demonstrate area knowledge.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance.
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred.
- Adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic safety officials.
- Neat appearance required for customer contact.
- Meet and maintain federal motor carrier safety regulations; includes medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations.
- Obtain and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record as outlined in policy.
- Non‑covered safety‑sensitive position.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Pay range: $22.43–$35.54 per hour.
Full‑time position:
Monday–Friday 9 am–6 pm.
