Monday-Friday, 7.25 hours per day; 185 days per academic year with additional summer hours.
AvailabilityCommencing with the school year.
Salary & Benefits$21/hour or higher based on prior experience

- Accompany assigned student throughout the school day to provide behavioral and academic support
- Implement IEP goals as directed by the Special Education Teacher and behavior analyst
- Attend related service sessions with student (ex. speech, OT, PT) and reinforce work in these goal areas
- Work with other specialists and parents to implement additional specified goals and objectives
- Implement programs developed by teacher and consultant
- Maintain accurate data and graphing on all designated programs
- Plan and implement all aspects of systematic instructional sequences within self-contained classroom, inclusion environments, and reverse mainstream environments
- Meet regularly with behavior analyst, special education teacher, support team
- Attend staff meetings
- Provide reports of student progress when deemed necessary by teacher and/or team
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience required
- Demonstrate knowledge of special education practices (autism)
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be flexible, creative, and demonstrate strong organizational skills
- Must be highly motivated and self-directed
