(John Read Middle School Tiger PAWS) Peers Advocating for Welcoming Schools
One (1) Position AvailableQualifications:
CT Certified Teacher
An interview may be necessary
Responsibilities:- Establish a student leadership team with a focus on social and emotional skill building.
- To prepare high quality school activities for all grades to address the core values of John Read Middle School’s Taking Care motto.
- Topics/activities to include addressing positive school climate, staff appreciation and the transition to a new grade.
- Increasing leadership opportunities for students and implementing a program for recognizing positive behavior throughout the school.
- Implementing wellness initiatives throughout the building for students and staff and building relationships with the greater Redding community!
- One time meeting for the purpose of reflection on club activities will be scheduled.
2x monthly for 1 hour
Stipend:$1,104. 1/2 paid in the first paycheck in December, 1/2 paid in the first paycheck in June
