Your New Role We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Plumber to join our Ministry of Justice (MoJ) account in HMP Hewell, B97 6QQ
. This role is on-site.

At Amey, we’re supporting our justice client, His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) by providing them with safe, clean and efficient prisons. By using our facilities management expertise, we help keep 60 secure premises across England and Wales running smoothly.
Plumber plays an important part in ensuring the planned and reactive maintenance work within the prisons is carried out in a safe, compliant and timely manner. The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week.
Responsibilities- Routine and non-routine maintenance.
- Mains water supply repairs.
- Fault finding; identification of life expired equipment, checking, repairing and making good faults.
- Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment.
- Any other duties commensurate with the role.
- NVQ level 2 in Plumbing and Heating with experience in plumbing maintenance
- Experience in operating light plant
- Legionella awareness and compliance is desirable
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience in a commercial environment
