Plumber

A plumber is required at HMP Hewell, temporary contract starting ASAP, 39 hours per week, £23 per hour Inclusive of holiday pay. Your new company You will be working at HM Prison Hewell Grange for a facilities management and maintenance company. This company ensures that all maintenance projects throughout the prison are completed to a high standard. Your new role Your new job will be temporary with the potential to go permanent depending on performance.

You will be carrying out planned and reactive maintenance. Some of the responsibilities will include installing and maintaining heating systems, repairing sanitation systems, fitting appliances and emergency repairs. All tools and materials will be provided, and you could be asked to work 1 in 3 or 1 in 4 weekends, but the majority will be Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00.

Working weekends are paid at overtime times rates. What you'll need to succeed Relevant plumbing qualifications will be required, and you will need to be able to pass an enhanced vetting procedure to be considered for this role. What you'll get in return You will be paid £20 per hour including holiday pay, plus any overtime rates if you work weekends.
