To become a Construction Technician in our Construction department, we need someone who is enthusiastic, organised and experienced.

The successful candidate will have the chance to acquire new skills and develop their abilities in a wide range of activities.

Although this position is centred on our Redditch campus, all applicants must be prepared to travel to our other campuses or surrounding areas as required.

Please note this is a temporary position that is due to end June 2026.

To find a more detailed list of your day-to-day responsibilities, please refer to the key roles and accountabilities section on our Job Description. In summary, as someone who has relevant industrial experience, you will support in many aspects. To name a few:

• Support daily operations in construction/building services workshops.
• Clean and carry out routine equipment maintenance.
• Maintain safety equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Assist teaching staff with teaching aids and demonstrations.
• Supervise and support learner training.
• Set up and pack away workshop equipment.
• Order materials and manage stock levels.
• Complete Health & Safety tasks (risk assessments, COSHH).
• Support open days and events.
