Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Electrician/ Electrician Installation
This role will support qualified electricians in maintaining plant and equipment to high operational standards. The role focuses on learning fault diagnosis, maintenance, and safe working practices, while assisting with breakdowns and planned maintenance to maximise productivity and minimise downtime. The trainee will also contribute to continuous improvement activities, relevant site facilities activities and projects and will develop technical skills through hands‑on experience and training.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Assisting qualified electricians with maintenance and repairs.
- Supporting automation projects and responding to equipment breakdowns.
- Contributing to site improvement and keeping work areas tidy.
- Receiving structured training and working towards becoming a qualified electrician.
To be considered for this role you must hold:
- GCSE grade C/4 (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
- Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation (City and Guilds 2365 or equivalent).
- Have a keen interest in electrical work, good teamwork skills and a willingness to learn.
You will be working Monday to Friday, 40-hours per week.
