Electrician – Planned Maintenance & Faultfinding

Electrician - Redditch

We are recruiting for an Electrician on a Permanent basis.

Base salary: £30,866 - £36,135, dependant on experience.

• Planned and preventative electrical maintenance, including administrative duties aligned to the tasks.
• Actively fault finding / problem solving on electrical systems across the prison.
• Carry out like‑for‑like replacements and other electrical minor works with the relevant inspections and tests carried out and results recorded in accordance with BS7671.
• Ensuring that all electrical systems are safe, compliant, and functioning effectively, helping to create a secure and well‑maintained environment for staff and residents.

• City & Guilds 2367 or 2357 Level 2 Electrical Installation works or equivalent.
• BS#removed#th Edition, however, we will consider 17th Edition with upskilling to 18th Edition.
• Good working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
• Good working knowledge of planned and preventative maintenance operations.
• Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.

There may be a need to work some weekends but this would be on a rota basis (and with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary).
