We’re recruiting skilled Electricians to join our long‑term Ministry of Justice contract, delivering essential facilities management services that keep prisons safe, secure and operational. • Stable, permanent position on a long‑term government contract
• Competitive salary: £30,866 – £36,135 (depending on experience)
• 39‑hour working week with a structured rota
• 15% additional allowance for 1 in 3 weekend working
• Clear progression pathways into Team Leader and Site Management roles
• Full training & development, including support to gain 18th Edition if required

• Planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs
• Undertaking electrical testing in line with BS7671
• Supporting safe, compliant and secure environments
• Working both independently and as part of a wider facilities team

• Level 2 Electrical Qualifications (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition (or 17th with willingness to upskill)
• Experience in maintenance or similar environments
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• A proactive, safety‑focused approach

Prison Security Clearance will be required (Amey will support you through this process).
