Step into a rewarding school-based role for the  academic year as a School Psychologist supporting students well-being and success. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to play a proactive role in shaping the mental health landscape for school-aged children. Youll collaborate closely with both educators and families, devising meaningful intervention plans, conducting assessments, and promoting a healthy learning environment. This is an in-person position, working onsite across one to two school buildings within a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications:
  • Active Michigan School Psychologist Certification required (open to out-of-state travel professionals willing to swiftly obtain MI licensure upon offer)
  • Experience in school settings is preferred, with strong knowledge of psychological assessment and interventions
  • Commitment to comprehensive support beyond testingby contributing to both team-based initiatives and individual student needs
  • Outstanding interpersonal, consultation, and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and build rapport with students, families, and staff
Role Highlights:
  • Deliver psychological assessments, develop intervention strategies, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
  • Support emotional, behavioral, and academic needs for a diverse caseload spanning 12 school buildings
  • Collaborate with fellow School Psychologists and educational teams workload shared among three FTE psychologists within the districts five buildings
  • Engage in activities beyond testing, including consultation, prevention, and direct student support
  • Maintain thorough documentation and participate in the development of educational programming
