Vehicle Technician

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician on behalf of a reputable, family-run dealership in Redhill. The Vehicle Technician will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality vehicle servicing and repairs, primarily focusing on German and other franchise vehicles. This opportunity is ideal for experienced technicians with a strong technical background and a desire to develop within a well-established, customer-focused environment.

Competitive basic salary between £35,000 and £45,000, dependent on experience and qualifications
Bonus potential of £5,000 - £6,000 OTE annually
40-hour week, Monday to Friday, no weekend work

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

Servicing and repairing vehicles according to manufacturer standards, with an emphasis on German and franchise brands
Diagnosing complex issues accurately using manufacturer tools and documentation
Maintaining high levels of customer service and satisfaction
Keeping detailed and accurate records of all work performed
Contributing effectively to a team environment focused on quality and efficiency
Ensuring repairs and servicing meet manufacturer warranty procedures (training provided if required)
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealer environment preferred
Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge of various vehicle systems
Ability to complete work efficiently without compromising quality

Experience with warranty procedures is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided
