We are actively seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent – Multifamily Construction with 15+ years of field leadership experience overseeing large‑scale residential developments.
This is a pivotal leadership opportunity responsible for managing all field operations on complex multifamily, podium, wrap, mixed‑use, and high‑density residential projects. The Senior Superintendent will serve as the primary field leader, coordinating project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and ownership representatives to ensure successful project execution from groundbreaking through turnover.
The ideal candidate brings deep multifamily expertise, strong leadership abilities, exceptional scheduling and operational experience, and a proven history of delivering large‑scale projects safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
What You’ll Do- Lead all field operations from site mobilization through project completion and turnover.
- Manage day‑to‑day construction activities, subcontractor coordination, manpower planning, logistics, and scheduling.
- Oversee large‑scale multifamily, podium, wrap, mixed‑use, and residential construction projects.
- Develop and maintain project schedules while driving milestone achievement and overall schedule performance.
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers, ownership groups, architects, consultants, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
- Conduct subcontractor meetings, site coordination meetings, and daily planning sessions.
- Ensure project quality standards are achieved throughout all phases of construction.
- Monitor productivity, workforce performance, and project execution strategies.
- Enforce company safety standards and maintain a strong safety‑first culture on site.
- Review plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and construction documentation.
- Identify and resolve field challenges proactively while minimizing project disruptions.
- Lead inspections, punch list completion, turnover activities, and warranty coordination.
- Mentor Assistant Superintendents, Foremen, and emerging field leaders.
- Build strong relationships with subcontractors, clients, and project teams while maintaining exceptional communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- 15+ years of Superintendent experience within multifamily construction.
- Extensive experience overseeing large‑scale multifamily, podium, wrap, mixed‑use, and high‑density residential projects.
- Proven success managing projects ranging from $75M-$300M+ in value.
- Strong expertise in scheduling, sequencing, site logistics, manpower planning, and subcontractor management.
- Experience leading large project teams and coordinating multiple trades simultaneously.
- Proven ability to deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Strong understanding of multifamily construction methods, building systems, and project delivery processes.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and contract documents.
- Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and construction management software.
- Experience with podium, wrap, urban infill, mixed‑use, and large‑scale residential developments.
- OSHA 30 Certification.
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field.
- Experience working with nationally recognized multifamily developers and ownership groups.
