Director - Risk Management & Compliance

Reporting to the President & Chief Executive Officer, The Director ofRisk Management &Compliance is responsible for designing, implementing,maintaining and communicating an effective hospital compliance and risk management programs for RCH and its entities The Director oversees the management of the central database for hospital policies and procedures. This position is accountable to county, state and federal agencies in addition toother external regulatory agencies for maintaining compliance with applicable laws, regulations and standards.

• Minimumof five years of experience in compliance and risk management in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Bachelor’sdegree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field desired:
  Master’s Degree or Juris Doctor Degree preferred.
• Knowledgeable in regulatory requirements:
  Federal, and State regulations including but not limited to, Title 22 licensing requirements, CMS Conditions of Participation,accrediting bodies such as The Joint Commission, California Department of Public Health, and the Federal Sentencing Guidelines.

• Certified Healthcare Compliance (CHC) and Certified Professional in Health Care Risk Management (SPHRM) required ormust be achieved within 12 months of hire preferred.
• MAB is required to be completed on the first day of work. (Grandfathered: existing employees must complete new requirements by 6/9/2025.)
