Worker's Compensation Orthopedic Editor

• Must have experience with Med-Legal Worker's Compensation reporting
• Must have experience with reviewing AME/QME reports
• Must have thorough understanding of AMC Guides 5th edition and Labor codes 4663 & 4664
• Excellent communication, writing and grammar skills
• Must be well-versed with worker's compensation and medical terminology
• Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and ability to handle multiple tasks
• Must exhibit a high degree of professional excellence characterized by sound independent judgment, initiative and high standard of ethics
• Must possess high attention to detail

The Worker's Compensation Orthopedic Editor will be responsible for the review and editing of Med-Legal reports. Medical writing and editing experience is required.

• 2 to 3 years' work experience in Workers Compensation cases
• Experience in Orthopedics and Pain Management preferred
• Dependable and organized
• Receptive to constructive criticism and feedback
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and follow up on assignments
• Self-starter, proactive and works well with little supervision
• Excellent analytical skills, likes to be accurate and attention to detail
• Intermediate or higher skill level in Word Perfect and Word office
• Associate's degree or higher
