Job DescriptionThe Clinical Field Specialist provides education on Advanced Patient Monitoring products through intra‑operative case coverage, one‑on‑one ad‑hoc training sessions and in‑service education programs in the ICU, OR, and other acute care areas. They support physicians and medical staff with clinical instructions to ensure continuity of education and technical support throughout the continuum of care, anticipating obstacles and planning for smooth execution.
The CFS advocates with clinicians to expand usage of BD products, works with sales reps and managers to implement strategic plans in the territory, and validates software and hardware updates in the field. This position requires travel within the Inland Empire and Riverside territory; candidates must reside in the region.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an acute care environment
- Associate’s degree in Nursing or a related clinical field
- Proven understanding of cardiovascular science, anatomy, pathology and physiology
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to travel as needed
- Critical Care and/or Cardiac experience – TVC, CV ICU or CV OR nursing highly preferred
- Registered Nurse license
- Strong understanding of hemodynamic monitoring
- Experience in a clinical or sales role within a Medical Device company
- Proficiency presenting to groups
- Leadership experience progressing within the Nursing field
- Ability to inspire change within hospitals or organizations

Work Shift:
Field‑based. Minimum of 4 days in office per week for most roles; remote or field positions have different arrangements. Employment may require proof of COVID‑19 vaccination.
