Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain tagging solutions across platforms using AEP Data Collection, and potentially GTM, or other tag management tools
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of tag deployments to ensure data accuracy and performance and troubleshoot any issues to maintain data integrity
  • Develop and manage tag properties and rules for multiple domains using AEP Data Collection
  • Efficiently manage and publish workflows involving multiple libraries in AEP Data Collection
  • Design and execute data collection strategies and tagging standards that support scalable, consistent, and efficient data capture across web assets
  • Work closely with front-end developers, UX, and product teams to align on data layer and EDDL requirements for websites and web event tracking to ensure optimal data collection
  • Enforce best practices in data collection, including adherence to privacy and compliance requirements such as GDPR and CCPA
  • Partner with business analysts and product owners to provide a best-in-class customer experience
Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant, full-time experience
  • Experience with tag management systems such as AEP Data Collection (formerly called Adobe Launch), GTM, Tealium, or similar tag management platforms, including implementation, testing, debugging, and system planning
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and front-end development principles
  • Experience with Data Layer standards, formatting, and governance
  • Knowledge of Agile development and software lifecycle methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate in regular meetings with team members and management
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or a related STEM field
Recommended Qualifications
  • Experience with Adobe Specific Analytics & Tag Management Architecture
  • Experience with event driven analytics architecture, such as EDDL, Adobe Data Layer
  • Knowledge of Data Collection Standards and Best Practices
  • Hands-on experience implementing Adobe Web SDK
  • Experience managing analytics implementations across a mixed ecosystem
  • Ability to Support Onboarding and Training internal teams in data collection tools and processes
  • Understanding of Privacy and Compliance Considerations (such as GDPR, CCPA)
  • Familiarity with Tag Governance techniques and processes
  • Experience working with Adobe and other APIs, along with Python for automation or analytics tasks
  • Experience with Multi-Region/International Data Deployments
  • Knowledge of eVars, Props, Success events, SAINT & Rule-based classification
  • Familiarity with crawlers such as Screaming Frog and Python-based tools for site analysis
  • Experience with Adobe AEP, CJA and CDP implementation and management
  • Strong understanding of marketing / business analytics that supports enterprise data and the customer lifecycle

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is

$96,408 - $166,920 USD
